How to Claim Purchased Items in Dune Awakening

In Dune: Awakening, purchasing items from the CHOAM Exchange (also called the Auction House) can be confusing for new players. Many expect items to appear directly in their inventory, only to be left wondering where their purchase went.

This guide will walk you through everything you need to know to successfully claim your items (especially from the Arrakeen Exchange) and help you troubleshoot common issues along the way.

Dune Awakening CHOAM Exchange

What Is the CHOAM Exchange?

The CHOAM Exchange is the game's player-to-player marketplace, located in major hubs like Arrakeen and Harko Village. Here, you can:

  • Browse listings from other players
  • Sell crafted gear, schematics, and materials
  • Purchase rare or hard-to-find items using Solari

Note: The Exchange is server-specific, meaning listings and purchases are tied to the server instance you're currently on.

Why Aren’t My Purchased Items in My Inventory?

After buying an item from the Exchange, it doesn't go directly into your inventory. Instead, it is temporarily stored in the Vault (also referred to as the Bank) near the Exchange area.

To access and transfer your purchases, you must manually claim them from this storage system.

How to Claim Purchased Items – Step-by-Step

1. Travel to the Arrakeen Exchange

Head to Arrakeen, one of the main cities in the game. You can get there via:

  • Ornithopter travel (free)
  • Taxi NPC (~2,500 Solari one-way; return is free)

Once in Arrakeen, go to the Exchange Terminal building.

2. Locate the Vault or Bank NPC

Near the Exchange area, you'll find an NPC or terminal labeled Vault, Bank, or something similar. This is where your purchased items are held.
