Code Vein - Fix: Audio Issue in Cutscene

How to Fix the Problem with Audio in Code Vein

Method #1

  • Click on the Windows Start icon
  • For search, type manage audio devices

  • Click on the "Manage audio devices"
  • Right-click on the your default audio device

  • Click on the Configure Speakers
  • Select the Stereo

  • Click on the Next button
  • Again, click on the Next
  • Finally, click on the Finish button.
  • Click OK and try the game.

Method #2

  • Click on the Windows Start icon
  • For search, type manage audio devices
  • Click on the "Manage audio devices"
  • Right-click on the your default audio device
  • Click on the Properties
  • Go to the Advanced tab.
  • Select different bit&hz on the Default Format list
  • If it doesn't work, revert back to previous format. My correct format is 24 bit, 48000 Hz (Studio Quality)

Method #3

  • Click on the Windows Start icon
  • For search, type manage audio devices
  • Click on the "Manage audio devices"
  • Right-click on that unused device such as NVIDIA High Definition Audio
disable audio
  • Disable them
  • Make sure that only one default device is active.
  • Click on OK and launch the game.

Method #4

  • Go to in-game graphics settings
  • Set the Screen Mode to Full Screen
  • Set the VSync to On
  • Apply the changes.
