I would like to share with you some methods to solve this error.
FIX 1
- Uninstall the Apex Legends
- Go back to Nvidia Geforce 417.71 drivers
- Restart your computer
- Reinstall the Apex Legends on another harddrive
- Try playing the game

Try running as administrator.
FIX 3
Enable the vsync.
FIX 4
If you are playing in BORDERLESS mode, switch it to FULLSCREEN MODE.
FIX 5

Start > Run > type regedit > Enter
32bit
- Go to "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\GraphicsDrivers"
- Create a key of type "DWORD (32-bit)" and name TdrDelay with a value of 10 as Decimal value.
64bit
- Go to "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\GraphicsDrivers"
- Create a key of type QWORD (64-bit) and name TdrDelay with a value of 10 as Decimal value.
Restart your PC, then run the game.
FIX 6
If overclock is enabled, disable it. Also you should try to underclock your GPU.
There is no definitive solution to this problem. Sorry about that.
