Some PUBG players encounter the PROCMON24.SYS error when starting the game. The error message that appears in BattlEye Launcher is exactly this:
Starting BattlEye Service…
Launching game…
Disallowed driver: C:\Windows\system32\Drivers\PROCMON24.SYS
Please unload it or reboot your system.

How to fix “Disallowed driver PROCMON24.SYS” error in PLAYERUNKNOWN’S BATTLEGROUNDS
Process Monitor stores everything, including both visible and invisible events in virtual memory. To clear ProcMon processes from memory, PC must be restarted.
In fact, the problem is solved simply this way, just restart your PC, but if you are encountering the PROCMON24.SYS error at startup very often, this problem might be due to missing or corrupt dll files in your operating system.
To fix this error that prevents you from playing PUBG, firstly you will delete the corrupted dll files (which I will mention below), then install Microsoft’s Visual C ++ Redistributables so get your fresh dll files. Thus, the game will launch without any problems.
- Delete the following files:
Be careful, don’t delete wrong files!
C:\WINDOWS\System32\api-ms-win-crt-math-l1-1-0.dll
C:\WINDOWS\System32\api-ms-win-crt-stdio-l1-1-0.dll
C:\WINDOWS\System32\vcruntime140.dll - Download and install both x86 and x64 versions from the links below. If they are already installed, repair them.
