ImgMedia failed to load"

If you experience a crash with the above message after seeing a black screen on launch, you can fix this error in Satisfactory by installing the "UE4 Prerequisites x64". Just follow the steps:

  • On Steam library, right-click on Satisfactory
  • Click the Manage > Browse local files
  • In the main installation folder of Satisfactory, go to Engine > Extras > Redist > en-us
  • Run the "UE4PrereqSetup_x64.exe" file in the en-us folder.
  • Install it.
  • Test the game.

You can find the same file for the Epic Games version in Satisfactory's main folder.
