This tutorial will explain how to fix Grounded that won't launch. It is possible to fix the problem by trying the methods listed below.

Grounded won't launch (How to fix)

Grounded won't start, how to fix it?

Method #1

Some dll files that come with "Visual C ++ Redistributable" installations on Windows may be missing or corrupt. So you should download and install the latest supported Visual C++ Redistributable.

VCRuntime140.dll is often the cause of this problem. To have a fresh VCRuntime140.dll file, you must install Microsoft Visual C ++ 2015 Redistributable. You have to install both x86 and x64 versions.

Method #2

Uninstall your graphics drivers completely using the Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) app, then download and install the latest versions.

For Nvidia graphics cards, you can get the latest drivers at https://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx

For AMD users: https://www.amd.com/en/support

Method #3

An incomplete installation may be the cause of the problem. So you should verify the integrity of Grounded's files.

  • Go to the Steam library
  • Right-click on Grounded
  • Select Properties.
  • Go to the LOCAL FILES tab
  • Press the VERIFY INTEGRITY OF GAME FILES button.
VERIFY INTEGRITY OF GAME FILES

Method #4

I suggest you to update your Windows 10. There may also be problems with the system files, I have heard that there are players who have fixed this issue in Grounded game by installing a fresh OS.

Method #5

Ensure the appropriate antivirus and firewall exceptions are in place for Grounded.

I hope it helped. In the meantime, if your problem is the login error message, check out this guide.
