NBA 2K20 Lagging & Stuttering [Fix]

NBA 2K20

Some players getting green screen and very low frame rates in NBA 2K20. Even though they have GPUs like the RTX 2080, GTX 1080 Ti, GTX 1060, the game just functions like they are playing on a toaster.

My computer runs any other game perfectly fine on high settings. I get low fps even lowest settings in NBA 2K20 .

How to fix the stuttering and green screen flashing error in NBA 2K20?

This solution is for laptops.

  • Open NVIDIA Control Panel
  • Click the Manage 3D settings
nvidia
  • On the Global Settings tab, set the Preferred graphics processor to High-performance NVIDIA processor
  • Click Apply and close the NVIDIA Control Panel.

That's all!

  • ive got an rtx 2070 and i have the same problem as antho, but now im stuck at under 20 fps on park and i tried the geforce settings and all options in the game

  • Hello, thanks for help. I have the same problem, I’m running with a 3770k and a 980ti but I can’t play... Everywhere the game is ok but when I play a game in the park I got some stuttering, something like V-sync bullshit.. I’m stuck at 60fps but it’s seems like I got 20..

I want to try your solution but I don’t have de option you show here..

    Thanks !

    • This setting (Preferred graphics processor) is only available on laptops.

You should keep your graphics drivers updated. The latest video card drivers: https://www.nvidia.com/download/index.aspx

Also, go to in-game video settings and make sure the settings are as follows.
      Window Mode: Full Screen
      Vertical Sync: Off
      Then close the game.

      Open NVIDIA Control Panel.
      Click the Manage 3D settings
      Click the Program Settings
      Click the Add
Select the NBA 2K20 (NBA2K20.exe) from the list
After that, make the following settings

Power management mode: Prefer maximum performance
      Vertical sync: Fast

      Click the Apply

      I hope it helps you.
